Deliverables – Can you Identify When Deliverables are Required?

We have introduced some of the deliverables developed throughout the Planning phase (refer to Process Overview). Specific deliverables are developed during the first 80 days of the Planning phase leading up to the Agency’s determination of whether an impact assessment is required. If an impact assessment is required, additional deliverables are developed during the last 100 days of the Planning phase and are posted on the Registry with the Notice of Commencement. In addition to knowing when deliverables are required, it is important to know who is responsible for each deliverable – the Agency or the proponent. The following exercise gives you the opportunity to test yourself and review key points regarding this information. The score you achieve is not recorded, so take your time and use this activity to determine what you have learned and if any areas need further review. More information regarding these deliverables will be provided in the next screen.
